Syma X5C: a better Syma X5

Syma+X5C%3A+a+better+Syma+X5

by Adam Rabinowitz
One of my first reviews talked about the Syma X5, a quadcopter I purchased to really learn how to fly multirotors.
In it I mentioned an optional upgrade which includes a camera to put below the quadcopter. After some time, I made the upgrade, and I can honestly say it turns the Syma X5 into a whole new quadcopter.
Although it adds weight to the quadcopter and thus lowers the flight time, it makes up for that with added features that make it a much better buy.
The camera allows for taking both pictures and videos, all with a simple tap of a button.
Although in the videos the only audio is from the propellers, this is the case with most quadcopters.
To view these videos, the only thing the user has to do is eject the included micro sd card, and plug it into the USB connection that it comes with.
Once it is uploaded to our computer, you are done.
Moreover, the video is in high definition, and looks stunning for such a small and cheap camera. The pictures are 8 MP, also a great feature.
I think that this is a great buy for anyone looking to head into the aerial photography area of flying. It is a great starter, and is very durable.
Overall, I found that it improved my small quadcopter greatly. I found that it has no flaws, and I would recommend it to anyone.
