Junior Kavish Gandhi advances to finals of Siemens Competition

Junior Kavish Gandhi is in the regional finals of the Siemens Competition which awards scholarships of up to $100,000 for talent in science, math and technology in high schools throughout the nation. The Siemens Competition receives approximately 2,000 research project submissions each year, 60 of which are chosen to continue to the regional competition.

Nitrous Oxide competes in CageMatch

Nitrous Oxide, this school’s sketch comedy troupe, competed in Improv Boston’s Sketch CageMatch July 6 and 13. Otherwise known as “the newest and most dangerous comedy arena in the world,” according to Improv Boston’s website. Based in Cambridge, the weekly comedy show features sketch comedy troupes from across Massachusetts.

Ligerbots place seventh in regional competition

by Amanda Hills This school and South’s Ligerbots team competed at the Boston FIRST Robotics competition Thursday to Saturday and the Worcester Polytechnical Institute Regional FIRST Robotics competition (WPI) Thursday, March 8 to Saturday, March 10.
