My first blog reviewed the Cheerson CX-10, a neat mini quadcopter that I purchased to delve into the world of multi rotors.
After a long, and very fun first week flying it, and after many crashes due to my friends’ and my beginner skills, it unfortunately broke.
Looking to continue flying multi rotors, and hoping to fly more now, I looked to find a new quadcopter to learn and get better with.
I came across the Syma X5, a bigger, more crash-proof quadcopter. The reviews looked promising, and I made my purchase.
After about a week of flying it, I find it to be worth every cent. Ranging from around 35 dollars to 50+ depending on the model, it is extremely well-designed and flies great.
For a beginning flier like myself, it is perfect. It comes with propeller protectors, so crashing it does not hurt the copter or the crash site.
With its 360° Eversion mode, with the press of a button even a novice flier can perform brilliant flips.
The copter also comes with two modes: low for the beginner, and high for the more advanced, allowing everyone flying it to have a good time.
An extra addition that I find makes it perfect is a camera to go at the bottom of the copter. The addition comes with an SD card to record videos. Although I have yet to buy this addition, it is something I hope to do in the future.
Overall, it is a great buy with great features. I find that there is nothing wrong with it, and would recommend it to anyone looking to buy a quadcopter or take aerial footage.
