Following a successful 16-4 regular season and wins against Lowell, Methuen, and Framingham in the first three rounds of the MIAA Tournament, girls’ softball fell to Revere 1-0 in the North Sectional Finals Sunday.
Sophomore Gabby Vachon pitched a gem, allowing only two hits against tenth-seeded Revere over seven innings.
Despite Vachon’s excellent performance, Revere won it after a shaky seventh inning for the Tigers, which included a passed ball and an error, allowing the game’s first and only run to score without the benefit of a hit in the inning.
