Science team places third in competition

by Amanda Hills This weekend, the science team competed in the Massachusetts Science Olympiad at Framingham College, along with 43 other teams from across the State, according to senior Cole Kerr, a captain.

Ligerbots compete in first meet of the season

by Amanda Hills and David Kwartler At their first meet of the season, the Ligerbots competed at Worcese Polytechnic Institute from Thursday until Saturday. Senior Paige Grody, the team captain, said that 34 teams participated, the majority of which are from New England.

Administration chooses student union design competition winner

by Amanda Hills Sophomore Liran Bromberg’s design won the student union design competition. English teacher and librarian Kevin McGrath noted that Bromberg’s design was chosen because it seated the right number of students, its furniture was cohesive with the library’s and it was practical for the custodians to clean.

Students place second in Reserve Cup Challenge Tournament

by Alex Feit Four students enrolled in buisness classes from this school placed fourth in the Reserve Cup Challenge yesterday. This was the first year students from this school competed in the Reserve Cup, which was sponsored by the Federal Reserve Bank of Boston to promote understanding of finance and economics, according to senior Kevin Wu, a participant with seniors Ryan Chan, Steven Michael and Andrew Walsworth.
