Finishing second at Bay States and qualifying for Sectionals, girls’ gymnastics capped off another successful season with an 8-1 record, according to junior Allison Hurwitz, a captain with senior Lena Golick.
An injury to junior Ariana Paone ended any chance of making finals, according to Chin.
“Ariana had been working hard preparing for the meet and trying to stay healthy, and I know she was devastated,” Chin said.
Hurwitz said she expects an even better season next year.
“We will have some talented girls joining us next year, so I think we will definitely come into next season strong.”
Next year’s captains will be Hurwitz and juniors Lili Margolin and Rachel Vasyliev.
