Struggling girls' hockey looks for successful final stretch

It has been a tough season so far for girls’ hockey, who currently own a 6-7-2 record. According to coach Bob MacDougall, the Tigers need to win five out of their final seven games to qualify for the State Tournament, which begins after February Vacation.

In its first playoff game of the season Monday, Feb. 25, girls’ hockey played well, and beat Shrewsbury 3-1, according to coach Bob MacDougall.

by Ryan Condon Girls’ lacrosse, 11-5-1, lost to Needham at home yesterday 17-11. The game was an encouraging sign that the team can compete against some of the best competition in the league and go far in the playoffs, according to coach Kim Hamilton.
