During May and June, this school is abuzz with prom excitement. The Class of 2013 is looking forward to the Junior Semi-Formal, the Class of 2012 to Senior Prom and the freshman to Freshman Masquerade Ball.
Junior Semi-Formal will be held at the UMass Boston Campus Center Saturday, May 19 from 7 to 11 pm, according to junior Brian Goldfinger, the class president with vice presidents Shelly Altman, John Gohan, Ryan Lucken and Mike Safran. All students will take a bus from this school at 5:30 pm.
Tickets are $60 and are sold in front of the cafeteria during lunch until the day before the event, he said.
“I think the Semi-Formal is so important to people because they like to have dates, dress fancy and go to awesome parties with their grade,” Goldfinger said.
Monday, June 4, Senior Prom will be held at the Danvers Port Yacht Club from 6 to 11 pm, according to senior Ben Hills, a vice president along with Stephanie Brown, Brooke Stearns and Ivan Wolyniec and with president Jon Paul Roby. A bus from this school will be provided.
Tickets are $85 and will be on sale starting Friday, May 11 in front of the cafeteria, he said.
The Senior Prom After-Party, which is run by the PTSO, will be held at the school and has an Alice in Wonderland theme, he added.
“Prom will be a really fun time at a great venue with great kids. All of the class officers and advisers have worked really hard to help work on it, so it will be great,” Hills said.

This year, the freshman class has organized a Freshman Masquerade Ball Friday, May 11 from 7 to 11 pm, according to freshman Tommy Mobley, the class president with vice presidents Olivia Berlin, Micah Cawthorne, Jessica Gallagher, Maddie Maloney and Rebecca Popma. It is being held in the cafeteria, and tickets are $15.

“Masks do not have to be worn and wearing them is totally optional. We will provide them,” Mobley said.
A $50 raffle will also be held at the dance, Mobley said. The first 50 students who buy raffle tickets will be entered into the raffle.
“The dance is a great way to raise funds while creating a great night for the class to have fun and become closer,” he said.
