This school’s science team participated in its last meet of the season Thursday at Burlington, coming in fourth place with a total of 59 points, according to senior Gloria Li, a captain with senior Zach Rosenof.
All 16 teams from the West Suburban Science League participated. The meet had four types of competitions that focused on different components of science: magnetic levitation, forensics, robotics and neuroscience, Li said. The team scored a respective 16, 13, 13 and 17 points in each category, she added.
She said the meet “went very well, and our team had more points than last year.”

The team will compete at the Massachusetts Science Olympiad in March.
