Stop and Shop card holders can earn money for this school by registering for A+ Rewards at all Stop and Shop stores, parent and PTSO coordinator Isabelle Thacker said.
According to Thacker, once one registers a Stop and Shop card with A+ Rewards, this school will receive points each time he swipes his card at the store. Those points will be converted into money.
The deal runs from Friday, Oct. 7 to Thursday, March 29, and will resume next school year, Thacker said.
“This is a great and easy way to raise money for this school,” she said.
Forty-two families from this school have signed up and have raised $188.31 so far, Thacker added.
“I suspect that many, many more than forty-two families shop at Stop and Shop, and if they would sign up, we would earn a lot more money,” she said.
