Pilot Program sponsors American Red Cross blood drive

by Alex Feit This school will hold a Red Cross blood drive Tuesday to raise blood for individuals who may need it in medical procedures. The blood drive, sponsored and organized by the Pilot Program, will be held in the auditorium on that day from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Ligerbots begin building process

Freshmen to travel to New York on annual trip

by Alex Feit Freshmen have significantly fewer field trips than upperclassmen, according to history and social sciences teacher Ty Vignone. To account for this disappointing reality of freshman life, Vignone began supervising a freshman-only, two-day field trip to New York City over 30 years ago, and he has continued to do so since, he said.

Language department revises French sequence

Nine science team members compete in Women of Science competition

by Alex Feit Female members of this school’s science team competed in the Women of Science competition at Bedford High School yesterday, according to science department head Amy Winston, the team’s adviser. The team, comprised of nine girls from all grades, sent three groups of three students each to participate in the competition, according to Winston.
