Apple's overshadowed, better new laptop

With the release of the new MacBook Air, the world was buzzing as Apple once again shocks with their ingenuity and great design.
Its new, slick 0.52 in design makes for an engineering success.
However, Apple also recently released an updated MacBook Pro, and perhaps all the hype went towards the wrong computer.
The Pro has a new Force Touch Trackpad, a longer battery life, and faster flash storage.
While most people were in shock over the new MacBook Air and dying to get it, I shied away, skeptical at its predictive success.
With a new USB Type-C as its only source of connection, it will be a rough transition for many users. The new Pro, on the other hand, is just as most other computers, featuring multiple USB Type-A connections.
I currently have the previous generation MacBook Pro, and I don’t believe that it lacks anything. It is more powerful and versatile than the MacBook Air, with more storage and better processors.
Although it is not as thin as the Air, the Pro is 0.71 in, a mere 0.19 in thicker and has many other benefits.
With the new model, buyers should stick with the same ideas when they go to buy a new laptop.
As the market expands for USB Type-C computers, and the extra connections for it become cheaper, I see the MacBook Air becoming a better option for consumers in the future.
But right now, the MacBook Pro is still the best option available.
